Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces thoroughly through sanding, plastering, caulking, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
- Apply paints, stains, primers, and sealers using hand tools, brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless and conventional spray techniques), and power tools for efficient coverage.
- Follow safety regulations diligently by utilizing appropriate respiratory protection, harnesses, fall protection gear, and adhering to OSHA standards during all phases of work.
- Perform surface preparation for various substrates such as drywall, stucco, masonry, concrete finishing, and framing to ensure long-lasting results.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of professional painting experience (residential or commercial).
- Strong understanding of paint types, surface preparation, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints or work orders and follow project specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and steady hand coordination.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job sites
- Florida drivers license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with spray painting and specialty finishes (e.g., faux, texture, epoxy).
- Knowledge of drywall repair and minor carpentry.
- OSHA or safety certification is a plus.
Pay: From $25.04 per hour
