As a Used Vehicle Technician, you are responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning used inventory vehicles, trade-in vehicles, and dealership-owned internal vehicles to ensure they meet dealership quality and safety standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities including, but not limited to:

Perform inspections, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on used vehicle inventory, trade-in vehicles, and dealership-owned internal vehicles.

Complete used vehicle reconditioning work in accordance with dealership standards and timelines.

Perform comprehensive used vehicle inspections and document all findings.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and safety-related concerns and perform repairs accurately and efficiently.

Conduct trade-in evaluations and identify mechanical deficiencies requiring repair or disclosure.

Determine reconditioning requirements needed to prepare vehicles for retail sale.

Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain required parts and materials.

Document all work performed, including inspection results and repair recommendations.

Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to verify repair quality.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of service bays, shop equipment, and work areas.

Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, dealership policies, and safety requirements.

Other duties as assigned.

Previous automotive technician experience preferred.

Experience performing used vehicle inspections and reconditioning repairs preferred.

Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
