Location: Lakewood, New Jersey
A busy outpatient Occupational Medicine practice is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, a collaborative clinical environment, and a streamlined onboarding process—making it an excellent opportunity for providers looking for work-life balance without sacrificing meaningful patient care.

Position Highlights

- 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- No call
- No weekends
- Outpatient practice
- Fast credentialing and onboarding
- Average 20–25 patients per day
- Supportive physician and APP team

Responsibilities
You'll provide comprehensive occupational health services for employees across a variety of industries, including:
- Pre-employment and post-offer physical examinations
- DOT physicals
- Return-to-work evaluations
- Workers' compensation injury assessment and treatment
- Fit-for-duty examinations
- Medical surveillance exams
- Exposure evaluations and follow-up care
- Drug and alcohol testing
- Ordering and interpreting laboratory testing and diagnostic X-rays
- Collaborating with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate patient care
Qualifications
- Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner
- Active New Jersey Nurse Practitioner License
- Current DEA and CDS
- DOT Medical Examiner Certification (Required)
- Experience managing Workers' Compensation cases
- Occupational Medicine or Urgent Care experience preferred
- Comfortable practicing independently in a fast-paced outpatient setting
