Job Overview
We are seeking a Full-Time Infusion Registered Nurse to support our growing infusion center operations. This position will be primarily based at the Cooper City Infusion Center, with a regular schedule from Tuesday through Saturday.
The ideal candidate is clinically confident, reliable, adaptable, organized, and committed to providing safe, efficient, and compassionate care in a fast-paced outpatient infusion setting. Although Cooper City will be the nurse’s primary location, flexibility is required to provide coverage at another FEM infusion center when staffing needs, call-outs, clinic volume, or other operational circumstances arise.
Schedule Requirements
This is a full-time position. Benefits are available in accordance with company policy.
The expected core schedule is: Tuesdays - Saturdays. Clinic hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
The nurse must be willing and able to provide coverage at the South Miami Infusion Center, Doral Infusion Center, or another FEM infusion location when necessary.
Training Requirements
Initial orientation and training will take place across all three South Florida infusion centers:
- South Miami Infusion Center
- Doral Infusion Center
- Cooper City Infusion Center
Training at multiple locations is required to ensure familiarity with FEM’s clinical workflows, operational procedures, team members, and location-specific processes.
Duties
- Administer intravenous medications, iron infusions, vitamin therapies, and other prescribed treatments
- Start and maintain IV access safely and efficiently
- Monitor patients during infusion therapy and respond appropriately to adverse reactions or changes in patient condition
- Conduct patient assessments, including review of symptoms, health status, and vital signs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in the electronic medical record
- Educate patients regarding infusion expectations, treatment plans, medication administration, and post-infusion care
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers, physicians, and other team members to support individualized patient care
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, medication safety standards, and clinic policies
- Support efficient patient flow while maintaining a safe, calm, and comfortable environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the infusion area
- Assist with medication preparation, inventory awareness, and supply organization as needed
- Float between assigned FEM infusion center locations based on operational needs
Skills & Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida
- Strong IV insertion and IV access skills required
- Experience administering IV infusions required
- Experience administering iron infusions preferred
- Ability to monitor patients closely and respond appropriately to infusion reactions or clinical concerns
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to provide compassionate care while managing multiple patient needs
- Strong organizational skills to manage patient flow, documentation, and treatment schedules efficiently
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between Doral, Cooper City, and South Miami locations
- Flexible, team-first mindset and comfort working across multiple clinic sites
- Ability to work independently while following established protocols and escalation pathways
Preferred Experience
- Outpatient infusion experience
- Iron infusion experience
- Women’s health experience
- Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic medical record system
- Experience working in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting
