American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with home health experience for a 13-week travel contract supporting a Morris County home care region in New Jersey.

Home health setting, supporting the Morris County region
-
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule with no weekend shifts required
-
40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
-
Epic used for charting; experience preferred
-
Possibility of floating to a nearby sister facility
-
Active NJ PT license required; license required if applicable
-
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program required
-
0–4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist strongly preferred
-
Home health experience preferred
-
Acute care experience in a large academic medical setting preferred

Board Certification as a Clinical Specialist in an area applicable to acute care preferred

Epic EMR experience preferred
-
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

2 professional references required for consideration

Core responsibilities include patient evaluation, developing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, patient and family education, documentation, and appropriate billing
-
Supports lead clinicians in competency development and participates in new staff orientation

May serve as a clinical instructor for PT students

Exercises independent clinical judgment on moderately complex cases with minimal supervision

Candidates who completed a clinical affiliation with this health system will be given preference

Orientation is conducted on-site in Morristown, NJ
