Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our team at Stress Less Massage as a 1099 contractor. This role is ideal for new graduates who want to grow in a supportive, professional environment that emphasizes therapeutic results over spa-style services. Therapists here focus on pain relief, mobility, and long-term care while maintaining independence and flexibility in their schedules.
Duties
- Conduct professional client assessments to determine needs and create appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic massage services including deep tissue, trigger point, sports, and other pain management techniques.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to deliver effective, goal-oriented care.
- Maintain accurate client records in accordance with state standards.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, and professional atmosphere for all clients.
- Stay current with massage therapy best practices to enhance client results.
- Collaborate respectfully with other therapists and healthcare professionals as needed.
Requirements
- Current Texas massage therapy license (LMT).
- Strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques.
- Professional, reliable, and self-motivated.
- Comfortable working with all genders and body types.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- New graduates strongly encouraged to apply.
