Missouri Girls Town is looking for a Cook who enjoys cooking and wants their work to matter. In this role, you’ll prepare nutritious meals and help create a welcoming dining environment for youth in our residential program.
If you like running your own kitchen, cooking real meals, and having a steady full-time schedule, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks
- Manage day-to-day kitchen operations
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and food-safe
- Help with food deliveries and occasional campus events
- Maintain simple USDA meal program records
What We’re Looking For
- Age 21+
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license (Class E within 30 days)
- Food Handler’s Card, CPR, and First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Dependable, organized, and comfortable working with other staff and working around youth
- Must pass a background check
