We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to join our laboratory team in Richlands, VA. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified laboratory professional with at least 1 year of experience in an acute-care laboratory setting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field
- Major in Medical Laboratory Science
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute-care laboratory setting
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, testing, and quality control
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accurate patient results
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must meet applicable laboratory and regulatory requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex laboratory testing accurately and efficiently
- Analyze and report laboratory results according to established procedures
- Follow quality control, safety, and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment as required
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving laboratory testing issues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment
Compensation
$55,000 – $75,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and other applicable factors.
