Black-Tie Security LLC is seeking professional, dependable, and motivated Security Guards to join our growing team. Guards may be assigned to venue security, event security, mobile patrols, property protection, access control, and general security assignments throughout Iowa.
We are looking for individuals who can maintain a professional presence, exercise sound judgment, and provide exceptional service while helping protect our clients, their guests, and their property.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned properties and venues
- Maintain a visible security presence
- Monitor for suspicious activity and safety concerns
- Control access points and verify authorized entry
- Respond to incidents and emergencies
- Complete incident and activity reports
- Communicate with supervisors, clients, and emergency responders
- Assist with crowd management and conflict de-escalation
- Enforce client policies and site rules
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- No felony convictions
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Must possess a smartphone for scheduling and work-related communications
Preferred Qualifications
- Security experience preferred but not required
- Military, law enforcement, corrections, EMS, or customer service experience is a plus
- CPR/AED certification is a plus
- Ability to obtain an Iowa Private Security Employee License
