The Material Coordinator maintains sufficient inventories of raw materials and packaging material to meet production requirements to fully complete customer orders on time.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS

Place purchase orders for required packaging materials.

Schedule delivery dates of packaging materials to meet plant requirements.

Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come on time, and in the event of problems trace shipments and follow up undelivered goods.

Confer with staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action.

Participates in and supports Quality Assurance and Improvement Program.

Maintain and review computerized or manual records of items purchased, costs, delivery, product performance, and inventories.

Discrepancy Resolution – investigates shortages, damages, or rejections and implements solutions to reduce inventory inaccuracies.

Analyze inventory data, identify trends, and investigate inconsistencies.

Learns and understands the inventory processes taking place within Parity Factory & Great Plains.

Collaborate with Warehouse Staff, Planning, Raw Receiving, and Plant Management to maintain organized, safe, and efficient storage areas.

Performs data entry into various programs and/or databases to support accurate and timely tracking and reporting of plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Associate’s degree from a two-year college in a related field, preferred.

Minimum Five (5) years related experience and or training.

Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
