Doherty's Irish Pub & Restaurant of Cary is looking for enthusiastic team players to join our Support Staff team with the potential of advancement to a server position and beyond.
Maintaining a safe & positive work environment for our staff and guests is a top priority at Doherty's and that starts with training. As a member of our support staff team, you will be provided with complete and thorough training to ensure you are set up for success and confident while providing superior service to our guests.
Support Staff Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting our guests at the door and utilizing our table management software to provide accurate wait times (when necessary) and seating assignments for our guests.
- Leading guests to their table while briefly welcoming them and providing a brief explanation of our daily features handout and how to access our full contactless menu.
- Greeting guests on the phone that may need assistance with reservations, placing a takeout order, or answering general questions.
- Participation with takeout orders, including taking accurate orders over the phone, bagging orders and checking for accuracy, and bringing takeout orders to our pick-up station or curbside.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation
Support Staff earn $5/hour base pay plus tips, averaging $12–$15/hr.
Advancement Opportunity
After completing initial training and excelling in your role, you may have the chance to cross-train as an Expediter (Expo).
Expo shifts pay $10/hour plus tips.
