Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook meals with precision, utilizing strong knife skills and food handling techniques
- Support food presentation and plating to enhance visual appeal for fine dining or catering events
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety standards
- Serve meals efficiently while providing friendly, attentive customer service to residents or guests
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, portioning, and assembling dishes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal delivery and smooth kitchen operations
Skills
- Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide, with knowledge of meal planning and food preparation
- Strong background in culinary arts, including cooking techniques and food industry standards
- Experience in fine dining environments or catering settings is highly desirable
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food handling and safety protocols
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
- Familiarity with restaurant or kitchen experience, including serving and food service operations
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
