Pinnacle Hardscapes is hiring an experienced Hardscaping Foreman to lead outdoor construction projects and manage a small crew. We are looking for someone who understands proper installation methods, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can keep projects moving efficiently from start to finish.
This is a hands-on leadership position. The foreman will work alongside the crew while overseeing daily production, workmanship, jobsite safety, materials, and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a hardscaping and concrete crew
- Review project plans, measurements, elevations, and job specifications
- Build retaining walls, paver patios, walkways, steps, and outdoor living areas
- Oversee excavation, grading, drainage, and base preparation
- Assist with concrete forming, reinforcement, pouring, and finishing
- Properly install retaining-wall base material, drainage stone, pipe, geogrid, and block
- Set grades and elevations using lasers and other measuring equipment
- Assign daily tasks and ensure crew members work efficiently
- Track materials and notify management before additional supplies are needed
- Operate skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, saws, and other construction equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
- Communicate project progress, problems, and changes with management
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company standards
- Help train and develop less-experienced crew members
- Maintain professional communication with customers while on the jobsite
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hardscaping, landscaping, masonry, retaining walls, pavers, or concrete construction
- Previous crew-lead or foreman experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of excavation, grading, drainage, compaction, and base preparation
- Ability to read measurements, calculate material quantities, and follow project plans
- Experience operating skid steers and mini excavators preferred
- Ability to lift 50–80 pounds and perform physically demanding outdoor work
- Ability to work in heat, cold, and changing weather conditions
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record preferred
- Ability to maintain quality while meeting project deadlines
What We’re Looking For
The right person will be dependable, organized, and capable of taking ownership of a project. You should be able to identify problems before they become expensive mistakes, communicate clearly with the crew, and maintain high workmanship standards without needing constant supervision.
We are not looking for someone who only wants to stand back and give instructions. This position requires a working foreman who is willing to lead by example and work alongside the crew.
Benefits
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Consistent full-time work
- Opportunities for advancement as the company grows
- Leadership role with responsibility over projects and crew members
- Variety of retaining-wall, concrete, drainage, paver, and outdoor-living projects
