Position Summary:
The Tour Liaison is responsible for conducting venue tours for potential clients, giving a strategic, educational, informative and thorough guided overview of Cescaphe Event Group’s competitive advantages. The tours are designed to paint a picture for our potential client and help them get a clear, concise vision of how their event will be executed at our venues, bringing the potential client one step closer to choosing CEG for their special occasion. Each team member is expected to assist when and where necessary to ensure flawless execution. The Tour Liaison will be expected to perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Product
- Consistently conducts thorough tours, ensuring all details are mentioned and accurate information is provided.
- Overcomes objections with persuasion and persistence.
- Maintains records and promptly submits information.
- Travels to other venues and arrives with enough time to greet potential clients.
- Prepares venue for clients, ensuring proper lighting, comfortable temperature, overall cleanliness and any food/drink set up.
- Refrains from disclosing information that deviates from the prescribed tour liaison script.
- Understands assigned venue(s) completely and accurately answers all questions from clients.
- Conducts tours in such a way that ensures clients book with CEG.
- Adheres to all job relevant manuals, checklists, and standard operating procedures.
Customer Service

Essential Knowledge & Skills:
Education: Associates Degree or equivalent college experience
Certificates/Licenses: None
Work Experience: 1-3 months related experience and/or training
Freedom from illegal use of drugs and freedom from use and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers.
Mathematical: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
