Job Requirements:
1. Lead Technician
Job Summary:
Works with junior Techs and independently, in the completion of installs and service calls. Responsible for timely completion of daily procedures and paperwork as assigned. Responsible for assigned vehicle care and maintenance.
- Requires excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated, task driven, and able to apply “best practices” theory
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to use hand and power tools (basic hand tools are required for this position; major tools including drills and saws will be provided)
Key Job Responsibilities:
Complete multi-room audio/video installs and setup
Advanced troubleshooting of simple AV systems
Residential networking/data system install and setup
Programming of multi-room, advanced control systems; Our primary control systems are Control4, URC, Lutron, Sonos, Alarm.com, & OvrC (training for each system will be provided as needed)
Understanding and knowledge of security system programming and design
Completion of Alarm.com Academy (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
- Competent skills with desktop and mobile computing
- Clean driving record and background check
- Minimum 4 years of residential audio-video installation experience from pre-wire to system programming.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and able to adhere to project deadlines
- a low-voltage license in St. Louis County is a benefit, but not a requirement (or the ability to qualify for, and pass, the low volt examination)
- CEDIA (and/or related certifications) and electronic security experience would be a an asset for this position
