Position Overview:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects from initiation through closeout. Operating in a dynamic and technical environment, this role manages all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure outcomes align with scope, budget, and timeline, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and quality standards. Working closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and senior leadership, the Senior Project Manager plays a critical role in supporting operationalexcellence, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to continuous improvement and business development efforts.
Responsibilities:

Lead the full lifecycle of multiple concurrent projects, from pre-construction/estimation through final closeout, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

Coordinate and communicate with clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants to align objectives, manage expectations, and ensure project requirements are met.

Monitor project progress and performance, tracking milestones, deliverables, and financials to identify variances and implement corrective actions as needed.

Oversee contract administration, permitting, and regulatory compliance across state, and local requirements.

Lead project meetings, facilitate decision-making, and maintain clear, organized documentation and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, mentoring junior staff and promoting best practices in project execution and team collaboration.

Perform building inspections and plan review for the building inspection department

Foster a strong work relationship with municipalities to ensure timely permit processing

Serve as qualifier for the building inspections department

Support business development activities including proposal development, scope definition, and client presentations.

Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to project management processes, tools, and workflows.

Act as the main point of contact for escalated issues, proactively resolving conflicts to ensure project continuity and client satisfaction.
