Position Summary
The Regional Manager of Nutrition Services oversees daily operations of the Meals on Wheels Nutrition and Animeals Program in our southern regions ensuring compliance with regulations and organizational goals. The role involves staff supervision, volunteer coordination, data management, and continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership and Management:
- Lead daily nutrition program activities.
- Make critical operations and staffing decisions.
- Resolve site risks and logistics inefficiencies.
- Support multiple sites to ensure quality.
Staff Supervision and Development:
- Guide Nutrition Coordinators and site assistants.
- Set clear performance and execution expectations.
- Provide active coaching and professional training.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and evaluations.
- Foster a positive, collaborative team culture.
Volunteer Coordination and Program Compliance:
- Collaborate with the Volunteer Coordinator daily.
- Organize and optimize meal delivery routes.
- Communicate program updates to volunteer teams.
- Ensure strict adherence to nutrition regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality under HIPAA privacy rules.
Data Management and Tracking:
- Oversee regional client database data entry and reporting.
- Verify accuracy of daily delivery logs and donations.
- Track and report total monthly meals.
- Monitor Animeals pet food inventory metrics.
- Analyze routing data to reduce drive times.
- Submit grant tracking data on time.
· Communication and Continuous Improvement:
- Maintain open communication with all stakeholders.
- Use program data for operational planning.
- Represent the agency professionally to partners.
- Participate actively in broader agency initiatives.
- Align regional outcomes with organizational goals.
