Ford of Claremont is in need of a experienced Diesel Technician!
We are extremely busy and are looking to add a experienced diesel technician to our team.
SKILLS and DUTIES
- Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repairs
- Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
- Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order
- Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs
- Pay is based on diesel experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
- MUST have diesel experience
- Ability to reach and to lift materials/parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
- ASE Certificate preferred but not required
- Experience in auto maintenance and repair or auto mechanic training required.
- Skilled in the operation of shop machinery (Tire Machine, Wheel Alignment Machine etc)
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service
- The ability to work overhead and bent over for long periods of time
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer software skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License (required)
- Must have own tools (required)
- Must have a clean motor vehicle record (required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $53,200.00 - $83,200.00 per year
