Commercial Cleaning Crew Member - Night Crew
Q-1 Services is a locally owned, fast-growing commercial cleaning company that has proudly served businesses throughout Alaska since 1976. As a Commercial Cleaning Crew Member, you'll play an important role in helping maintain clean, safe, and professional environments for our clients.
What You'll Do:
- Operate and maintain commercial floor care equipment, including auto scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, and carpet extractors.
- Perform floor care services such as stripping and waxing, scrubbing, buffing, burnishing, and carpet extraction.
- Remove dirt, stains, and debris from hard floors and carpeting to maintain a clean, professional appearance.
- Assist with general janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, disinfecting, trash removal, and restroom cleaning when covering for absent team members.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding job progress, building conditions, and supply needs.
- Maintain equipment and keep accurate records of completed work and inventory.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines while performing assigned tasks.
What We're Looking For:
- Ability to lift, move, and operate commercial cleaning equipment.
- Willingness to learn commercial floor care techniques and equipment operation (training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Previous janitorial or floor care experience is a plus, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 5:30pm-2:00am with a 30 min lunch (Fridays and Saturday's off!)
Pay: $15.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
