Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000, Shift Differential May Apply
Job Description:
The Manager supervises and coordinates the Environmental Services Department in order to maintain the facility in a clean and orderly condition.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and control the activities of the EVS department
- Ensure supplies are available for staff to complete their assignments daily
- Monitor employee time and attendance
- Validate and document terminal cleaning regularly
- Complete Bed Report each morning and effectively communicate bed availability and room readiness
- Adjust staffing patterns in accordance with Hospital census
- Monitor linen distribution on the units adjusting delivery counts in accordance with Hospital census
- Monitor work performance and prepare reviews and/or evaluation for assigned personnel
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in relevant field of study required, Bachelor's preferred
- 5 years relevant experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of all environmental services procedures, applicable laws, and government regulations
- Previous Environmental Services managerial experience required
