Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct appliance installation, repair, and servicing for various commercial and industrial appliances.
- Maintain HVAC & appliance technology by troubleshooting air conditioning systems, HVAC/R units, and related components.
- Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment deliveries as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Keep detailed maintenance records, logs, and reports to track repairs, inspections, and parts inventory.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
- Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic procedures for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC & appliance technology including air conditioning units and kitchen equipment maintenance.
- Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely; experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) is preferred.
- Construction experience or familiarity with building systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles responsibly.
- Leadership qualities that support teamwork and safety initiatives within the maintenance environment.
