We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring a high level of patient care in an outpatient setting. Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications as directed by physician
- Offer excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and providing information regarding treatments and care plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Document patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately.
- Demonstrate knowledge of physiology to assist in understanding patient conditions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy to provide effective support during patient care.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
