Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI is seeking compassionate Adult Residential Support Professionals to join our new Recovery Center in Oconomowoc, WI. This trauma-informed residential treatment program provides medically monitored and transitional treatment for adult women recovering from substance use disorders. Mothers with infants up to 3 months old may also reside in the program.
As a Support Professional, you'll play an important role in helping residents build healthy, sober lives by providing daily support, encouragement, and structure in a safe, respectful environment.
Schedule: 2nd Shift (3:45 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.), including every other weekend
Pay: $17.75/hour
Support and encourage residents in their recovery journey
Monitor resident well-being and document observations
Administer or monitor medications according to program policies
Assist with meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, and daily living tasks
Maintain accurate documentation while protecting resident confidentiality
Respond appropriately to emergencies or crisis situations
Support residents in achieving treatment goals
Transport residents to appointments, meetings, and community activities as needed
Collect urine specimens and administer breathalyzer tests when required
Facilitate educational or life skills activities
Attend staff meetings and required trainings
Perform other duties as assigned
High school diploma or GED required
Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred
Coursework toward a degree in social work, psychology, human services, or a related field is a plus
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Ability to maintain professional boundaries and work independently
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
DHS 83 training (Fire Safety, First Aid, Medication Administration, etc.) preferred but can be completed after hire
Travel: Local travel within the community may be required (up to 25–50%, depending on program needs).
