Morrigan Employment is recruiting for a General Manager on behalf of one of SE Portland's most distinctive food and beverage destinations — a thriving food cart pod with a loyal community following, a full bar, a coffee program, and a packed events calendar.
- ✅Woodstock/SE Portland — onsite
- ✅$80,000 – $125,000 DOE with bonuses and profit sharing
- ✅ Full time — expect 40-50 hours/week
- ✅ Direct hire — this is a permanent role with a full benefits package
What you'll own:
- Day-to-day operations across a multi-vendor food, bar, and coffee concept
- SOP creation, implementation, and enforcement — building systems where there are gaps
- Vendor and cart tenant relationships
- Staff scheduling, training, and accountability
- Facilities, cleanliness, and brand standards
- Events coordination alongside daily operations
- Fielding the unexpected
Physical & Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs occasionally (think kegs, supply deliveries, equipment)
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in varying environments — indoor, outdoor, and kitchen-adjacent spaces with heat, noise, and high foot traffic
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as needed during daily operations
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol per Oregon state law
- Valid food handler's card required (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- ServSafe Manager Certification preferred

- Experience with both bar and coffee operations strongly preferred
