Responsibilities
- Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions with precision and care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize advanced dental technology such as digital radiography and medical imaging to diagnose and plan treatments effectively.
- Execute specialized procedures like root canal therapy, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry when applicable.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental office standards.
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed through aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures.
- Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care to promote long-term wellness.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, charting, and record management.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical records management.
- Experience with dental fabrication techniques and general dentistry procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Expertise in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately while providing clear explanations of treatments.
- Knowledge of infection control standards including aseptic technique and sterilization processes to ensure safety for patients and staff.
Pay: $200,000.00 - $280,000.00 per year
