Job Summary
Agape Music Academy is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and enthusiastic Studio Coordinator & Music Instructor to help us create an exceptional experience for every student and family. This unique part-time position combines private music instruction with front desk and studio operations, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both teaching and serving others. The successful candidate will teach lessons, support day-to-day studio operations, communicate with parents, assist with scheduling and administrative tasks, and help us build a culture of excellence. Responsibilities
Music Instruction
- Teach private music lessons
- Prepare engaging lesson plans
- Encourage students of all ages and abilities
- Communicate with parents regarding student progress
- Maintain professionalism and punctuality
Studio Operations
- Welcome students and families
- Answer phones, emails, and text messages
- Schedule and reschedule lessons
- Assist with student enrollment
- Manage MyMusicStaff
- Prepare recital materials
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio
- Support teachers and studio operations
- Assist with administrative projects as assigned
- Create curriculum
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children and youth in educational or artistic settings
- Strong background in teaching visual arts, performing arts, music instruction, choreography, or related creative disciplines
- Knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to diverse learners
- Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage students actively and maintain a respectful learning environment
- Experience working with special education needs or early childhood education is highly desirable
- Familiarity with teaching musical instruments, dance (including ballet), theater techniques, or culinary arts is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining enthusiasm for arts education
- Passion for fostering creativity in learners of all ages through innovative teaching methods

Teaching experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Pay: $10.24 - $30.40 per hour
