We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver/Tool Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our deck-building projects. Your responsibilities will include safe and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and tools to job sites, operating big equipment, and maintaining and repairing tools and machinery.

Compensation:
$16 - $20 hourly
Responsibilities:-
Transport new products to our clients safely and efficiently
- Compile any necessary documentation related to delivery
- Check orders before and after drop-off to make sure deliveries are completed correctly
- Communicate with clients in a polite and professional manner to provide an exceptional customer experience
- Follow predesignated routes, schedules, and traffic laws to deliver products
- Safely transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.

Load and unload items from delivery vehicles.

Follow established routes and schedules.

Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles (e.g., trucks, vans) for safety and cleanliness.

Communicate effectively with project managers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues.

Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and obtain necessary signatures.

Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations.

Inspect, repair, and maintain tools and equipment used in deck construction.

Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.

Keep an organized inventory of tools and spare parts.

Collaborate with project managers to ensure tools are available and in good working condition.

Perform routine maintenance tasks (e.g., oil changes, blade sharpening) on power tools.

Troubleshoot and resolve tool malfunctions promptly.

Maintain a clean and organized tool storage.
Qualifications:-
High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid U.S. driver’s license in your state and a clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills and time management skills
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Valid CDL driver's license and a clean driving record required.
- Experience in delivery driving and familiarity with local routes.

Mechanical aptitude and experience with tool maintenance and repair.
