PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Provide ticketing services for VPAC events, including ticket sales, customer service, ADA seating coordination, and resolution of patron ticketing needs. Support efficient box office operations and a positive guest experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
-
Strong customer service and communication skills
-
Ability to operate computer systems and POS/ticketing software
-
Knowledge of seating layouts and ticketing processes
-
Understanding of ADA ticketing practices preferred
Experience:
-
Experience in ticketing, cashiering, or customer service preferred

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a part-time temporary assignment, however, the length of the temporary assignment is based on event needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
PAY:
$13.00/hour
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ticketing Operations:

Sell and process tickets using POS/ticketing systems

Handle cash, credit, and electronic transactions accurately

Maintain accurate ticketing and financial records
Customer Service:
-
Assist patrons with ticket purchases, exchanges, and inquiries

Provide information on events, seating, and policies
-
Resolve customer concerns or escalate as needed
ADA & Accessibility Support
-
Assist patrons with accessible seating requests
-
Ensure equal access to ticket purchasing and accommodations
-
Coordinate ADA seating and communicate needs to event staff
Pre-Event & Event Support
-
Contact patrons prior to events regarding ticketing needs when required

Assist with will-call and ticket distribution
-
Support ticket scanning or entry processes as needed
Event Coordination

Work closely with ushers and event staff to support seating and access

Maintain awareness of event schedules and venue policies
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

Maintain cleanliness and organization of box office area

Assist with reporting or administrative tasks as needed

Perform other duties as assigned
