Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Development Engineer (SDE II/SDE III) to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will design, development, and deployment of scalable software solutions that drive innovation and efficiency across our platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop robust applications, optimize system performance, and ensure seamless integration within our cloud infrastructure. Your expertise in modern programming languages, system architecture, and agile methodologies will be instrumental in delivering high-quality software products that meet evolving business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable backend services using Java or Python
- Lead the architecture and development of scalable, high-performance systems using microservices and cloud infrastructure such as AWS or any cloud platform.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrations to facilitate seamless communication between diverse applications and services.
- Develop and maintain web applications utilizing JavaScript frameworks like React or Express, ensuring responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications and actionable development plans.
- Apply best practices in software engineering, including design patterns, version control (GitHub, SVN), CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Optimize system performance through effective database design using SQL and implement scalable solutions for growing data needs.
- Stay current with emerging technologies such as quantum engineering concepts or new programming languages like Java, Python, integrating them where appropriate to enhance system capabilities.
Skills
- Extensive experience with IT infrastructure management and cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
- Proficiency in Java, Python or Ruby on Rails for web application development alongside JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and system design principles for scalable systems.
- Solid background in software development experience across multiple programming languages including Java or Python.
- Expertise in agile software development methodologies including Scrum or Kanban to facilitate iterative delivery cycles.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as GitHub or SVN combined with CI/CD tools for automated testing and deployment.
- Familiarity with database management systems like SQL or No SQL; experience designing efficient schemas for high-volume data environments.
- Understanding of security best practices including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) to ensure secure application development.

Pay: $115,476.72 - $139,068.73 per year
