Position Summary
Star Health Manufacturing is seeking a reliable and motivated Production / Kitchen Team Member to assist with the preparation and production of pet treats, chews, and related products in a manufacturing kitchen environment.
This position plays an important role in maintaining product quality, food safety, and efficient production processes while following company procedures and quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and materials used in the production process
- Mix, portion, and prepare products according to established recipes and procedures
- Assist in the production of pet treats, biscuits, chews, and related products
- Operate kitchen and production equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety procedures
- Monitor product quality and report any concerns to supervisors
- Package, label, and organize finished products as needed
- Assist with inventory organization and material handling
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen, food production, bakery, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work as part of a team
Schedule
1st Shift
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
