Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Survey Crew Chief to lead and coordinate land surveying operations on various construction and development projects. As a key team leader, you will oversee survey crews, ensure accurate data collection, and maintain high standards of safety and precision. Duties
- Lead and supervise survey crews during field data collection, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety protocols
- Operate and maintain advanced surveying equipment such as GPS units, total stations, and robotic instruments
- Conduct land surveys utilizing skills in trigonometry, geometry and algebra.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of land surveying techniques including GPS positioning, data collection methods, and utility locating procedures
- Solid understanding of trigonometry, geometry, algebra, and math principles essential for survey related measurements
- Excellent communication skills to lead teams effectively and collaborate with project stakeholders as well as dependability
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary
