Qualifying Party (QP) – Pest Control
We are seeking an experienced, state-licensed Qualifying Party (QP) to replace our current QP who is transitioning out of the role. This position is primarily to serve as the company’s Qualifying Party for our Pest Control Division, as required by the state.
This role may be structured as:
- QP Only (license holder / oversight role), or
- QP + Day-to-Day Pest Control Management or Field Work, if desired
Compensation and involvement level will be based on experience and availability.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the Qualifying Party of record for the company’s pest control business license
- Ensure full compliance with state and local pest control regulations
- Provide oversight of treatment methods, materials, and safety procedures
- Maintain all required licenses, certifications, and continuing education
- Be available as required by regulatory agencies for audits, inquiries, or compliance matters
Optional Responsibilities (If Also Active in Operations)
- Support or oversee day-to-day pest control operations
- Conduct or assist with inspections and treatment planning
- Provide technical guidance to technicians
- Assist with training, quality control, and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Active Qualifying Party (QP) license for pest control (required)
- State-required experience to legally serve as a QP
- Strong knowledge of pest control regulations, products, and application methods
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using software for documentation, reporting, and communication
- Professional, reliable, and responsive
Experience
- QP-level experience required by the state
- Prior leadership, oversight, or management experience in pest control preferred
- Field work experience required only if participating in operations
Position Structure
- Primary role: Hold and maintain QP license for the business
- Flexible structure for involvement beyond compliance
- Compensation based on scope (QP-only vs operational role)
