We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a particular emphasis on pizza making. The Pizza Cook will be responsible for creating delicious pizzas that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures
- Assist in menu planning and development of new pizza offerings
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all dishes meet customer expectations
Experience
- Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred
- Proven experience in menu planning, food preparation, and cooking within a restaurant or fine dining setting
- Familiarity with food service operations, including food handling and safety practices
- Experience in catering or large-scale meal preparation is a plus
- A background in the food industry or culinary arts is highly desirable
