Responsible for receiving and disbursing money for products or services rendered. Involves taking money for cash tickets and/or processing credit or debit card transactions and validating checks. Giving accurate change to customers and employees. Keeping receipts for all petty cash given out and any misc. cash taken in and reimbursing weekly. Cashier must maintain a high level of confidentially regarding employee activities.
Customer Service is the most important responsibility.
- Minimum high school diploma required.
- Any additional courses in accounting favorable, but not required.
- Minimum two to three years previous experience in similar position.
- Previous experience with computers for automated accounting system.
- Read and write the English Language.
- Also is required to operate computer terminals with keyboard and mouse, 10-key calculator, fax machine and various office equipment.
Must be able to use communicative skills to interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a positive and constructive manner.
