About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated, mechanically inclined Fabrication Technician to join our team. In this role, you will handle hands-on fabrication, equipment maintenance, and quality control. You will also support our rental fleet returns and organizing shop material. Key Responsibilities
As a member of our team, you will support shop fabrication through a mix of hands-on labor and technical training. Your duties will include:
Fabrication & Production
- Perform fusing, extruding, and general fabrication tasks.
- Build canisters out of HDPE material.
- Prep products for final shipment.
Rental Fleet & Inventory Support
- Assist with the rental check-out and return process
- Conduct basic routine maintenance, servicing, and thorough cleaning of rental equipment, tools and shop.
- Maintain an organized shop environment.
Quality Control
- Execute standard QC processes on new tool builds to ensure product integrity.
- Assist with final QC checks on returns.
- Collaborate closely with shop leads.
Training & Support
- Serve as a training assistant as you gain experience. This could include a minimum of travel of one week per year.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous skilled trade or hands-on shop experience is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean record (No DUIs; no more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years).
- Forklift certification is a plus (we are willing to train).

- Work Ethic: Detail oriented, reliable, motivated, and understands the importance of timeliness. Ready to work hard.
- Instructional Aptitude: Ability to quickly grasp and accurately execute complex, multi-step procedures.
Note: Excellent professional references will be required (must include at least one previous supervisor).
Physical and Mental Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand for the duration of your shift; frequent bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, grabbing, twisting, turning and stooping.
- Excellent manual and finger dexterity for handling small parts and tools.
- Good near vision for detailed inspection and machine setup, with or without corrective lenses.
- Ability to maintain high concentration on repetitive tasks and strict attention to detail to ensure safety and accuracy.

The base salary for this position is $18/hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other relevant factors. Due to the part-time status of this position, only sick time is provided. Should this position turn into full-time, additional benefits will be offered at that time.
