About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic Rental Sales Agent to serve as the face of our stand-alone Avis location. In this role, you will manage the customer journey, from greeting guests and opening rental agreements to confidently up-selling packages and processing returns. What You’ll Do:
- Customer Check-In/Check-Out: Warmly greet arriving customers, verify credentials (identity and payment), enter data into the rental system, and execute rental agreements accurately.
- Process Returns: Welcome returning customers, review vehicle condition, record final mileage and fuel levels via handheld digital devices, and close out contracts.
- Drive Sales Revenue: Actively upgrade customers to premium vehicle classes and promote optional products such as loss damage waivers, roadside protection, and pre-paid fuel options.
- Inventory Management: Audit physical inventory against our digital system, and ensure cars are properly staged for upcoming reservations.
- Problem Solving: Resolve customer inquiries, manage reservations, handle phone calls, and address complaints gracefully to ensure high satisfaction and repeat business.
What We’re Looking For:
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills (typing, data entry)
- Professional, engaging, and customer-focused personality
- Comfort with recommending products and services based on customer needs
- Flexibility to work all shifts
- Must be able to sit, stand, and type for prolonged periods
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
- This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
