American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring at least one year of IR experience and AHA-issued certifications, with candidates must residing outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.

Interventional Radiology (IR) unit within a hospital setting

Specialty areas include Neuro IR, Vascular IR, and General IR — experience in at least 2 of these areas is preferred

Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)

Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact (eNLC) RN license

BLS certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire

ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required within 6 months of hire — all certifications must be AHA-issued

Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology nursing experience required

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Responsibilities include assuming care for an assigned patient group, documenting responses to nursing interventions and medical treatments, and monitoring physiological data

Assists physicians during examinations and minor diagnostic procedures, administers medications, and manages IV infusions and blood products

Communicates care plans to patients and families, delegates tasks to support staff, and makes referrals as appropriate

Previous travelers who have completed a contract at this facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible to apply again
