Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Clinical Counselors to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic support to individuals, families and groups, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and methodologies. This role is essential in helping clients navigate through their mental health challenges with effective assessments, intervention, and ongoing support. The Clinical Counselor will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to the overall well-being of our clients.
Duties
- Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to determine the appropriate treatment plans.
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, focusing on psychotherapy and crisis intervention strategies.
- Develop and implement case management strategies to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within a clinical setting to coordinate care and resources.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and any necessary reports.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in clinical counseling.
Experience
- A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Previous experience in group therapy, individual counseling, or crisis intervention is highly recommended.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and patient assessment techniques is essential.
- Experience working with special populations is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
