Position Overview
We are seeking a driven, client-focused Full-Time Insurance Producer to support the growth of our book of business. This is a full-time position offering a base salary with scheduling flexibility, along with uncapped earning potential through commissions and performance-based bonuses. The role is ideal for a sales-oriented, coachable professional who thrives in a dynamic, goal-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect for new clients through outbound calls, networking, community involvement, referrals, and digital channels.
- Conduct needs-based insurance reviews with prospective clients.
- Recommend appropriate insurance products (e.g., auto, home, renters, life, commercial/farm ranch, umbrella) based on client needs and risk profile.
- Prepare accurate quotes and present coverage options clearly and confidently.
- Follow up with leads in a timely, organized manner to close sales.
- Ensure all applications, forms, and documentation are completed accurately and in compliance with company, agency, and Idiana state regulations.
- Use agency management and CRM systems to track leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
- Participate in training, coaching, and team meetings as required.
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience preferred (insurance, financial services, or related fields a plus, but not required).
- Active Indiana Property & Casualty licenses required and Life insurance license preferred, or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe (licensing assistance may be available).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable making outbound calls, networking, and meeting with clients.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software systems.
Schedule & Compensation
- Schedule: Full-time; 32 hours per week.
- Some flexibility in scheduling; may include occasional evening or weekend hours for client meetings or community events.
Compensation:
- Total compensation ranging from $35,000 - $100,000
- Base salary plus commission on new business generated
- Additional bonus opportunities tied to individual and/or agency performance
- Uncapped earning potential for top performers
