SCHOOL HEALTH PROGRAM NURSE PRACTITIONER
RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides comprehensive case managed primary care services in an ambulatory care setting at the school and Health Center. Contributes to quality assurance, staff development, and other programmatic and clinical functions.
QUALIFICATIONS: Current New York State Pediatrics Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse License. NCAA Certified. BLS Certification. Infection Control Certification. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. At least two to three years clinical experience preferred. Knowledge of general nursing theory, practice, methods, and techniques involved in the performance of general nursing services. Bilingual Spanish preferred.NYS Provider Medicaid and Medicare # required.
DOE fingerprinting required.
Schedule: Full time (35 hours per week, 7 hours per day with an unpaid lunch).
Salary: 135-145k per year dependent on experience. Consideration for negotiation of a sign on bonus.
