Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all work areas meet health and safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables or organizing supplies when needed
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene standards are upheld.
- Help with general cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to maintain an inviting environment.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure timely clearing of tables and smooth flow during busy service hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant environments is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with basic kitchen operations such as bussing tables or handling food-related equipment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of cleanliness standards in kitchens helps in maintaining high hygiene levels.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy meal periods or event setups.
- Willingness to learn about food handling safety practices and support culinary team members in various tasks.
