Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including science, mathematics, English language arts, and early childhood education.
- Support students with diverse learning styles by adapting instructional methods to meet individual needs.
- Facilitate tutoring sessions for subjects such as math and English language arts.
- Use learning technology tools to enhance instruction and student engagement
- Manage classroom activities to promote positive behavior and foster a respectful learning environment.
- Provide feedback to teachers regarding student progress and areas needing additional support.
- Help prepare instructional materials and resources for lessons and assessments.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children or students in educational settings, including classroom experience.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Experience tutoring in subjects such as math, science, English language arts is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
