Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of a manual lathe and be able to comprehend schematics, blueprints, understand tolerances, and visualize the finished part.
Requirements
- Experience as an Industrial Mechanist prefered however, on site training is an option for an entry level machinist.
- Job does require standing and some lifting and rotating upper body.
- Ability to utilize hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial gauges to verify that parts are machined to exact tolerances
- Familiarity with using hand tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and with a team in various environments.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Duties
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and system schematics
- Ability to clearly communicate technical thoughts and solutions to multiple levels
- Accurate documentation of service
- Resolve issues.
- Provide excellent customer service while communicating effectively with co-workers and clients.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service.
- Strong mathmatical and mechanical aptitude with a desire and passion to learn

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
