Join our dynamic team as a Behavioral, Speech, ABA, and Physical Therapy Specialist, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of children and individuals with disabilities through comprehensive therapeutic interventions. Duties
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate behavioral, speech, physical, and developmental needs using standardized tools and clinical judgment
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans aligned with each client’s goals and needs
- Deliver engaging speech therapy sessions, behavioral interventions, ABA techniques, and physical therapy exercises tailored for children or geriatric patients
- Utilize EMR/EHR systems to document progress notes, treatment plans, and session details accurately and efficiently
- Support early intervention initiatives by working closely with families to educate and empower them in their child’s development journey
- Adapt therapy methods for telehealth delivery when necessary, ensuring continuity of care through virtual platforms
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care and ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in school or clinical settings is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatrics, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Demonstrated experience in speech therapy, ABA therapy, or physical therapy within pediatric or geriatric populations
- Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop appropriate intervention strategies
- Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and experience providing remote services is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with patients of all ages and their families
- Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities across diverse settings including early intervention programs
- Valid credentials or licenses relevant to speech therapy, behavior analysis (such as BCBA or BCaBA), or physical therapy as required by state regulations
