Maternity Care Coalition (MCC) is a community-based nonprofit organization serving Pennsylvania and Delaware with over four decades of commitment to improving maternal and child health and early care and education. MCC’s mission is to improve the health and well-being of pregnant women and parenting families and enhance school readiness for children ages 0-3. We achieve this through direct service, advocacy, and research, in collaboration with individuals, families, providers, and communities. Position Summary
This position supports the evaluation of MCC programs by providing data and reports, calculating process and outcome metrics, and updating data dashboards. This position synthesizes and interprets data for program staff and management.
Core Functional Responsibilities

Maintains scheduled reporting outputs by owning the team’s reporting calendar and providing results.

Defines, calculates, synthesizes, and interprets data for program outcomes, missing data, and data requests.

Runs, cleans, calculates, and reports on ad-hoc data requests.

Monitors program performance trends and improvement progress.

Creates and updates data dashboards with program outcomes.

Performs data analysis for individual program outcomes.

Collaborates with CQI Coordinator to incorporate CQI data into program communications.

Collaborates with programs to interpret missing data reports from Database Administrator.

Meets with program supervisors about missing data trends and communicates the connection between missing data and outcome progress.
Supporting Responsibilities

Assists with MCC measurement equity initiatives by providing and synthesizing data.

Supports the evaluation team in program-level data validation and workflow insight.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
-
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Experience maintaining data reports/dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker). Experience building dashboards preferred.

Experience in monitoring program performance trends and communicating progress clearly to program and evaluation partners.

Ability to gather and synthesize program context/qualitative insights (staff input, workflow observation, client feedback) to inform evaluation interpretation.

Experience supporting the implementation of new workflows, performance monitoring, or data collection processes; comfort training staff on tools.

Working knowledge of CQI methods and tools (e.g., PDSA cycles, process mapping, driver diagrams, run charts).

High attention to detail in documentation (improvement plans, notes, evidence logs) and comfort validating data with program teams.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms, with the ability to use common software applications, spreadsheets, and customized databases.

Strong organization and time management skills, ability to work independently, and take initiative to build relationships with many programs.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills; ability to work across a double-barreled team and collaborate with multiple programs.

Maternity Care Coalition operates as a hybrid organization. The assigned work arrangement for this position may include a combination of remote and onsite work and will be determined based on operational needs, role responsibilities, and performance. Work arrangement expectations may be modified over time to meet organizational or programmatic requirements. Staff working remotely are responsible for maintaining a safe and appropriate workspace.

Ability to engage in extended periods of sitting, computer work, and sustained concentration to complete financial analysis, reporting, and related tasks.

Ability to occasionally bend, reach, lift, carry, push, or pull training materials or equipment, generally not exceeding 30 pounds.

Possession of a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence and the ability to successfully pass a motor vehicle record check, where driving is an essential function of the role.

Ability to travel occasionally to attend conferences, seminars, and professional meetings.

Ability to work non‑traditional hours on an occasional basis based on operational needs.

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of required post‑offer pre‑employment background clearances, as well as any additional post‑hire background, compliance, or programmatic clearances required by the organization, funders, or applicable regulations.

This role supports compliance for regulated funding streams, including Early Head Start, through timely financial reporting, audit readiness, and escalation of material risks to executive leadership.
Experience, Education, and Licensure
Experience: 2-4 years' experience with formal program evaluation, data analysis, data dashboards, and/or quantitative reporting (healthcare, nonprofit, or human services settings).
Education: Bachelor’s degree (public health, health administration, social sciences, or related) or years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Master’s degree is a plus.
