About the Role
The Program Manager – Environmental Health is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing environmental health programs that protect public health and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role oversees program operations, implements policies and initiatives, and collaborates with internal teams and community partners to advance environmental health goals.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and evaluate environmental health programs and initiatives.

Ensure compliance with applicable environmental laws, regulations, and best practices.

Lead program planning, budgeting, and reporting activities.

Provide guidance and supervision to program staff; support professional development.

Collaborate with governmental, community, and industry stakeholders.

Conduct environmental assessments and investigations as needed.

Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for leadership and regulatory agencies.

Identify program needs, recommend improvements, and oversee implementation.

Serve as a subject-matter resource on environmental health issues.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Biological, Physical or Health Science, Education or Engineering is required.

Experience managing environmental or public health programs.

Knowledge of environmental regulations and health frameworks.

Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholderengagement abilities.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in government, public health agencies, or regulated industries.

Professional certification(s) in environmental health or related areas.
Working Conditions
