Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth and Children Pastor to inspire, nurture, and lead the spiritual growth of our next generation. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dynamic age-appropriate teaching programs that align with the church’s mission and values.
- Lead weekly youth group meetings, occasional Sunday school classes, and special events that promote spiritual growth and community engagement.
- Provide mentorship and spiritual guidance to children and teenagers, fostering a safe space for open dialogue about faith, life challenges, and personal development.
- Coordinate outreach activities, camps, retreats, and fundraising events to support youth initiatives and expand community involvement.
- Collaborate with parents, church staff, and volunteers to ensure cohesive support for children’s spiritual needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children and youth in a religious or educational setting.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to connect effectively with diverse age groups.
- Knowledge of Christian teachings, counseling techniques, and mentoring practices.
- Ability to plan engaging events, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and inspire volunteer teams.
- A genuine passion for nurturing faith development in young people combined with a commitment to living out Christian principles. Support
This position will work closely with the Lead Pastor, Admin, and Volunteer Team. We are a community that wants to see you succeed. Currently this is a part time position, but we are hoping that over time it will grow into full time as we all work together.
Pay: $25.00 per hour
