Our office is looking for a dental assistant to join our team for the following clinical hours (arriving at least 20 minutes prior is expected as we have our morning huddle about 15 minutes before starting patients):
Monday: 11a-7p
Tuesday: 8a-3p
e/o Wednesday: 8a-3p
Thursday: 9a-6p
Friday (once a month): 9a -1p
We are a small private practice with a solo general dentist. We have five operatories and run at a moderate pace. In addition to Dr. Duran, we have seven additional members of our team that have been here from 2.5 years to almost seven years (when Dr. Duran took over the practice). We will be saying farewell to one of our dental assistants of 3.5 years, as she spreads her wings to become a dental hygienist.
We are looking to welcome a dental assistant with a current NJ Dental Radiology license that possesses a strong work ethic. When we asked our team what they are looking for in a teammate, they feel that a good fit for our office would be someone who has good vibes, a sense of humor, is flexible (not literally – we’re just about all peri-menopausal and don’t bend like we used to) and is a team player. Our office prides itself on quality dentistry, excellence in patient care and promoting a positive work environment. While days in dentistry can be rough, we know that when we work together as a team, it makes the hard days a little easier to bear.
We currently offer paid holidays, vacation time and dental benefits. Pay is based on experience.
