Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday
Location: Lawrenceville, GA
Responsibilities:
- Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher will ensure all students are skillful in the basic requirements necessary for Kindergarten.
- Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher will ensure that students are socially and emotionally adjusted within a school environment.
- Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher will work with children between the ages of 4-5 years old.
- Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher will conduct Parent Teacher Conferences, complete all work for WSO and meet all requirements for Georgia Bright from the Start.
- Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher will be responsible for obtaining the required training from Bright from the Start.
- Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher will maintain the weekly sign in/out sheets and attendance sheets.
- Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher is responsible for the upkeep of the classroom and equipment to include cleaning.
- Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher will be required to communicate (2 weeks in advance) with the Curriculum Coordinator if supplies are needed for the classroom.
- Turn in Lesson Plans to Center Director monthly
- Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher must be available to work 7:30am-3:30pm Monday - Friday
- Other duties and responsibilities as required by Management.
Requirements:
Must be a Georgia Certified Teacher
Must be in good standing with the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
Must pass Georgia State and Bright From the Start background check.
Must have reliable transportation.
Previous Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher Experience is required.

License/Certification:
- Georgia Teacher Certification T4 or higher (Required)
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for long periods,
- Frequently walking,
- Sitting on the floor and playing with children, and
- Lifting up to a 40 lbs. child in an emergency.
- You must be able to get up off the floor and stand up quickly.
The ideal candidate will have a loving demeanor with experience with the Bright From the Start Regulations, classroom experience, and CPR certification. All candidates must pass the national criminal background check. You must speak English clearly and be able to communicate with other staff, parents, and our wonderful children.
Compensation to commensurate with experience and education.
