Job Title: Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative

Reports to: Commercial Lines Manager
Job Summary:
The Commercial Lines Customer Service Agent supports the service team by handling day-to-day client requests, processing policy changes, and ensuring accurate and timely execution of service tasks. This role focuses on operational excellence, responsiveness, and supporting Account Managers in delivering a high-quality client experience.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Respond to client service requests (COIs, policy changes, billing questions, etc.)
- Process endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements
- Issue certificates of insurance accurately and on time
- Provide prompt, accurate responses to client inquiries
- Maintain accurate client and policy records in agency management system
- Enter and update policy data and documentation
- Support Account Managers and Producers with renewal preparation and data gathering
- Follow up with carriers on pending service items
- Process producer and client requests (changes, cancellations, binders, COIs)
- Route complex or coverage-related issues to Account Managers or Producers
- Manage assigned activities and service workflows
- Meet turnaround time and service standards
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all servicing transactions
- Assist with claims reporting and basic client guidance
- Support overall team efficiency and service quality

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years related experience in insurance preferred.
- Property & Casualty licensed required preferred
- Certified Insurance designations are a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
Salary: $40,000 - $50,000
